Counselling to inspire and to unlock your Joyful self

Let's face it life can indeed be challenging at the moment .No longer in lockdown but life can perhaps still be confusing. Whether seeking help because you are feeling over stressed or overwhelmed, your life maybe has lost all meaning, you are working so hard with no time for meaningful relationships, you have lost direction or  wanting to connect  or reconnect with yourself for a more fulfilling life. Perhaps you are exploring more self awareness and expression through your creativity. or you are facing a challenging one off situation or struggling with longer term difficulties. Counselling can  indeed help.

With lockdown easing and life slowly returning to a sense of normality, you may find yourself dealing with a range of feelings. While there might be some things you are excited about and looking forward to, there may be others that leave you feeling anxious and stressed

These are all activities that before the pandemic would not incite anxiety in most of us. However, we have spent recent times living under restrictions. It is no surprise that our attitudes and ways of being have changed as we adapted to this new way of living.

As we learn to cope with this shift to post-pandemic life, there are a few steps we can take to protect ourselves and our mental health.

If you live alone, you may still feel isolated and cut off from other people. If you find yourself living with people, (whose company you wouldn’t normally choose to be in for a long period of time), you might feel enclosed and overwhelmed.

The past pressures of self-isolation and social distancing will be affecting many of us. If you feel that you are struggling then counselling could help. A chance to talk with a counsellor even for a short session could help and work as a pressure valve to enable a clearer way forward both whilst in lockdown and for the future time as life opens up more..

A very warm welcome to my counselling practice with counselling ONLINE and in Vauxhall,  5 minutes walk  from Vauxhall and Stockwell stations .

My name is Sandra Scott Dip Couns, Dip RAM. As a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Life Coach I have over 20 years experience working with many different people from all round the world. My approach is holistic, based on listening, understanding and working to create a therapeutic relationship that is based on trust, confidentiality and always with a view to enabling you to enter into this new phase in your life with clarity and a new confidence.

My counselling ethos is very much focused on providing professional support whether you are managing current stresses or longer term issues or just needing a 'chance to talk' for a one off session.  I believe in working in a very positive way as I have learned through many years of counselling experience the path to understanding and change is often best found with positive and motivating counselling that can greatly help tilt the balance towards a life that has more meaning, fulfillment and success – whether personally, professionally, or both. Perhaps  you are facing a challenging one off situation. needing to revise your life skills or struggling with longer term difficulties such as depression. life lacking meaning or relationship issues. A Chance to Chat

There are times when our lives might seem to be getting just too much. An argument with a loved one, work colleagues not understanding, a bad day too many. Longer term counselling might not be an answer just right at that moment but a chance to be able to talk to an unbiased professional counsellor might make the load a little lighter. This is where a ‘Chance To Chat’ 50 minute session might be very useful.

The session can stand as a one off or be part of a short term group of sessions to offload and work towards a moving on.

Smiling Girl
